Nandansons Collaborates With “The Water Project”

In recent months, the members of the Nandansons Charitable Foundation (NCF) have been searching for a new beneficiary for foundation funds. After a concerted search effort, the NCF selected a charity that benefits those who lack one of the main sources that sustain human life: water.

The fact of the matter is that 663 million people in the world are living without clean water. Especially on the continent of Africa, there is a severe lack of safe water sources.

These staggering metrics led the Nandansons Charity team to an organization known as The Water Project. The organization focuses on providing aid to those experiencing water crises in sub-Saharan Africa.

Contributions from NCF were given to six different projects in Sierra Leone and Western Kenya.

These particular nations have immense needs. Kenya specifically has a population of almost 40 million, of which 43% are without clean water and 50% live below the poverty line. Sierra Leone is in an even more severe state, with 47% of its 9.7 million people lacking clean water and 70% living below the poverty line.

With the help of Ajay and Ankur Gupta, as heads of the NCF, they are supporting 6 communities in Sub-Saharan Africa that will provide aid to over 1800 men, women, and children. To learn more about The Water Project and NCF’s contributions to their current projects, click here.
